I wouldn't chance taking my dog. If it shows any aggression they'll take it away or toss you all out.i think I only saw service dogs on the inside of the fenceline.

I remember seeing a homeless couple with a small dog so yes, but the staff/security dont treat all homeless equally or fairly so they might let your dog in or might not. Depending if who you talk to are in a good mood.

Yes, if they are service dogs

Levi Nelson | Oct 6, 2018

Yes they do. You have to have all the paperwork for the dog. You can do this through the Brian Garcia building at the welcome center and then through the shelter itself.

Quite unfortunately they DO accept dogs without service papers. Just watched two of them go at each other.

This person has a muzzle lead on her dog, and it is a very docile/loyal pup, not sure the breed but she said she's 8 years old, and to me she looks like a pit breed but I don't want to steer her to a place that won't accept her because of her companion.

They only allow pets when shown paperwork of need for dog for medical purposes from a doctor, such as a dog who is used for "companionship"
