Most often single women are able to get a bed.
To get an open bed at CASS, u have to be at the Campus AT 2pm daily, when they assign the open beds for the night. Ur other option is to get a bed at the Overflow shelter, which is located inside St Vincent de Paul, around the corner from CASS. Overflow beds are first-come, first-served. There is always a line, but as long as u are there by around 630-7p u can generally get a bed for the night. They start letting the men in about 745p. Once in the Overflow, u can also have ur name put on the "CASS list", and if any beds open up in CASS that night, they will come to the Overflow and move u into CASS. I hope this info helps!
Beds (and anything else) are distributed very equitably at CASS on a first-come first-served basis. Meaning that you must be present in order to be considered.
It varies daily
You can go to the welcome center in the morning (M-F) and do an intake and thats a giid way to get a bed
