Thats right Cheryl, the "route' drivers deliver for smaller companies who are in turn contracted to deliver truck-loads (think extended cabs) of Amazon packages. Flex drivers are likewise independent contractors who dont work directly for Amazon either. Flex (route delivery) drivers only deliver 3-5 hours worth of route. Van/truck drivers deliver 8-10-12 hours worth of deliveries ( esp. during peak season Nov 18-new year.) Hope this helps - u can apply directly at this location for an extended cab size truck routes. Just show up at door # S202 and ask about a truck route.
