Unless the driver hands the package to someone in the household directly, he has to take a quick picture of where he left your package(s). Please report this as this is totally inappropriate handling and delivery of a package(s).
I work for Amazon Flex as a driver. What the person did was idiotic. What you need to do is report it to Amazon customer service and give them the route code so they know who the driver is. If it is a flex driver, you'll find the route code on a sticker on the box with a letter followed by a one-three number.
Most definitely call Amazon customer service.

I would talk to corporate because they don't work for our sort center they just download an app and pick up routes to deliver. As long as you have the plates I'm sure they can do something about that.
