We were thinking about visiting Chatfield with our dog who LOVES to swim. I read on the website that the water is very low... Could someone please clarify if my dog can still swim with the water low or is that part completely closed off? Thanks!

They have ponds at the dog park also. If you get caught at the reservoir with your dog off leash you'll get a ticket.

Dogs can definitely swim. It is shallow near the shore but gets very deep out a ways. Lots of doggos enjoy this spot!
