Kingfisher pond would be a good one to start at. Just stay away from the weeds.
When you come in, take a left and go all the way around the main lake until you have a parking lot on your left. The fist pond is probably best for beginners. There is a second parking lot toward the end of the road with a second pond as well. On the west end of the first pond there's a great shallow area for your dog to splash around and acclimate to the water, make sure they are comfortable there before you go to the deeper parts
