Terrible emergency room, might as well walk yourself to a cemetery

I went in for a procedure after I lost my baby. The staff kept pressuring me to pay my bill before they would perform the DNC. I had no one with me, this was the height of COVID, so no visitors. They kept hounding me as I was crying, I finally paid a bit of the bill just to get them to stop. I found out later this was unnecessary, I had meet my deductable and didn't need to pay. It was near impossible to get the money back, and it brought up memories of the wrist day of my life everytime I had to call. It was painful for me to write this, but I wanted others to know they can say no to payment let it go through your insurance first. Many people may also be eligible for free or reduced care. So sad that I got the shake down when I was hysterical about the procedure.

Giving birth here was an absolutely fantastic experience, and I would recommend it to anyone! I had my first baby at Rose, AKA the baby hospital, so when I moved down South I felt like the hospital I chose for my second birth would have a lot to live up to. Luckily, Littleton Adventist more than competed, and that was because of their absolutely exceptional care staff. Every nurse we worked with delivered a five star experience. Paive is an actual angel on earth, Jasmine is so friendly and knowledgable, and Paige in postpartum care was so wonderful to us. Our baby nurse (whose name I can't remember, stuff got crazy!) noticed something abnormal on our new baby, and herself, the pediatrician, and all nurses working with us got so involved as we went through an ultrasound and MRI, and all celebrated with us when the news was good. My husband was amazed and said he didn't understand how everyone could be so emotionally invested in us when we are just one of many that come through there every day, but that's what makes nurses so special. The level of care we received here was so above and beyond what could ever be expected. I would absolutely have more babies here (but I think I'm done), and if you are on the fence about whether Littleton Adventist will be the place for you, let this be a STRONG endorsement for birthing there! I wish every nurse in their L&D and Mom/Baby units the absolute best, they are an incredibly special breed of people and it made a big difference during one of the most important moments of our life. I hope they know what impact they have, and keep up the good work for all the new, stressed out moms out there that need them!

Yes, they have EENT and Maxillofacial surgeon's as they are a Level II trauma hospital
I don't know, the best way to find out is to call the hospital
Littleton Adventist Hospital is a full service hospital so I'm sure they have a lab. Might depend on the labs required.
Not sure
I just ordered online and had them delivered

That is going to be very very difficult. HIPPA makes it nearly impossible
