Yes, you can fish, camp, swim, snorkle. It is very much worthwhile. When we were there in '92 camping we saw manta rays, giant sea turtles, barracuda, besides all the little fish we saw snorkeling and beautiful parrot fish. It's it's a gorgeous, fantastic place. I'm sure there are better places to fish in the Keys, however this has all the facilities that you would need for a day of fishing like a restroom. I was just there last May 2019 and I'm headed there again in April 2020.
