Rentals were clean. Neat spot. We used their swimming pool and rented kayaks. The Parking situation could use improvement and structure.

Great service from the wonderful lady at the front desk when renting our pontoon. I so apologize for forgetting your name! Nate, the charter tech, was so very very helpful! He didn't miss a thing with the operation overview! I recorded it for reference and we did need it. If you're a novice with boating i highly recommend recoding your overview. We went to Content Key for the day without any major hickups!

We love this place. It’s reasonably priced owners and staff are great. Aqua lodges are okay. Wildlife abounds its right next to No Name Pub it’s so close to everything. You can rent kayaks, boats, go snorkeling, they have it all. There’s just one not-so-nice hitch….and that’s the rotting seaweed stench. You eventually get kind of used to it but it’s pretty awful.

Loved the Key Deer everywhere. The people were very nice as well. The only negatives were the unkempt outhouses at marina and constant smell of rotting seaweed and slight sewage smell.

I just left a review from my visit this past weekend. I uploaded a handful of photos.
The resort did not do too well. The office it completely gone and 2-3 of the cottages are not repairable. Almost all docking is gone as well as the fuel tank. Kayaks are scattered all over the mangroves to the north. Honestly, helping people that live on Big Pine would be more helpful. I think the cottages are down the list for urgent repairs. Of course, repairing the cottages that remained might be a good idea. They could be used as residences for people that lost their homes completely. Thanks for the question. The above information was acquired from overhead satellite pictures and comparing them from last year's Google image shot. It is very depressing. OWB is my favorite place to visit in keys.
Most likely. Big Pine Key was one of the hardest hit by the storm. There is no power, water, sewer or cell service at this time. Residents are not allowed to return at this time. The upper Keys fared much better, you might want to book there as an alternative. Good luck.
Have no Idea I live across the street
They are back in business. New floating lodges are super nice. Depends on what you want to catch. Right now if you wanna catch sharks and cudas, they are everywhere
You can't park on the bridge but yes you can fish from it you can't fish in the channel and its marked. So as long as you fish on either side of the signs you're in good shape.
