Can I get a birth certificate without my social card because social security spelled my first name wrong and requested me to get my certificate?

Yes i do. Im going on 40 years old and have never been denied a ss card until today. The lady said get my birth certificate and i told her i dont think you csn without a social card. She said, yes i can and sent me on my way.

No you can't get a birth certificate without your Social Security card you can try explaining to the Bureau of Vital Statistics what happened on your social security card with your name but I'd give tried to give them a call first but calling them is near impossible but go down and see what they can do they might understand do you have a driver's license with your correct spelling on it
