Mrs. Cogan, Miracle-Ear is a hearing aid center (https://www.miracle-ear.com/). They are well known and offer a variety of hearing aids. As a pulmonary office, we would have no knowledge of what their promotions are, but we feel confident suggesting that any advertisement for a private business that sells hearing aids (or cars, vacuum cleaners, etc.) is an inducement to get you to come into their shop and then hopefully sell you their product. As you may be aware, hearing aids are very expensive, often over $4,000. Unfortunately hearing and dental services are not (yet) covered by Medicare. It has been our local experience that Mutter Precision Hearing Center in St. Lucie West is a very well known, reputable, and honest business in our town. They are located at 1420 St Lucie W Blvd, Suite 101, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986 and can be reached at (772) 871-1222.
Dr. Pamer is my husband's pulmonologist but I don't know anything about a free set of listening ears?
