They do allow outside food now. Worked there for a few days and people were bringing coolers.

This is Cameron Park Zoo answering your question. Yes we now allow outside food and water inside the zoo. We have picnic tables in the entry plaza to the zoo and tables inside the zoo.

I would say call the zoo and ask. We have been members for 3 years. Used to be no food/drinks. We were just there last Friday. I brought in an ice coffee and snacks for my girls. Security guard came by and asked us to throw away the lid/straw that was in my drink. That's it. We also had a soft bag cooler in our stroller for juice and oranges and such.
