This place is amazing for kids and great for adults. My kids enjoy all the wonderful learning labs and exhibits. The traveling exhibits are a great addition too. Perfect place to learn and have fun.

This was so much fun for my daughter and me! They have lots of different options/exhibits that meet all ages. Highly recommend, especially if you have kids! We went on a weekday and it was not busy at all.

Went for the super hero exhibit, which did not disappoint! Super interactive—can spend a lot of time there. Rest of the museum was great too, with another interactive area. Wonderful museum for kids.

A very nice museum with 2 main sections. There's one side with lots of fossils, natural history, Waco history, artifacts, and an introduction to the Mammoth National Monument. Lots of exhibits to see. On our visit, they had a children's exhibit about superheroes with lots of interactive things to test physical skills, solve puzzles, and explore. The other side of the museum is all for kids with hands-on exploration of lights and sounds, playing with bubbles, science, and more. The little kids will really enjoy this place.

My almost 11 year old still enjoys it, even though most of the exhibits are still the same. She has her favorites and with our membership, it's something free to do on a boring day!
Most of the activities are designed for younger children. I'd say that to be able to see and reach most of the interactive things, a child would need to be at least 3 and a half feet tall. There are a few things higher up, but they're probably not things you'd want small children doing, anyway. As far as age goes, I'd say most of them were between 8 and 12.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secret of the Sewer exhibit opened January 13, 2018 & will run until May 6 of 2018. Also, you can check out a family pass from Waco and Hewitt Libraries making admission free for a families single visit.
No, the Museum launched a new program in the summer of 2017. Under the new program free admission days will be 3 diffetent dates during the year. The first date will be on Monday, January 15, 2018. More information is available at the museum's website or call and ask.
Hi, we apologize for our phone malfunction. We are open 7 days a week. Thank you!
Yes, in fact, most days they are open from 10am until 5 pm. Right now there is an exhibit called, "TITANIC, THE ARTIFACT EXHIBITION" until January 6th of next year.
Darn went today and could have gotten senior. Lol really enjoyed it
We used to visit all the time. Upstairs and down! Dinosaur room is cool. Thats 20 min. The rest has gone down. All play clothes were locked up in the "different country" room. She is no longer allowed to play in the "kitchen"area. Its for toddlers now. Typewriter room was a mess alot of broken typewriters. Not enough water in bubble room to make any. Only 3 frog/ snakes out. Just NOTHING. If your child is 5 or younger its probably ok. Weve gone for 7 yrs. Now its just not for her. And its the only place like it so its disappointing that its only for 5 and under
$8 General Museum admission or $19 For Titanic Exhibit (this inlcudes entire museum too set price) https://www.baylor.edu/mayborn/
General admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children (2-12yrs) this does not include the Titanic exhibition. Admission plus Titanic exhibition is $19 for adults and $13 for children (2-12yrs). Hope this helps.
You may bring a cooler and have lunch on grounds either in the Village., theiutdoor pavillion, or inside the museum on the second floor near the vending area. There is a microwave for museum guests to use. The Anding Traveling exhibit room is usually the only place food and drinks are prohibited.

the museum has an outdoor section that you can go into and there's a pavilion area and playground outside that you can eat at
Yes we are open from 10 to 5
If you are a student or a member, it's free every day. Unless you want to visit the Titanic exhibit, in which case being a studen or member will get you a discount. But the main museum is free for students (of Baylor University) and members of the museum.
I haven't heard about that, but I know you can check out a pass from the library and go for free that way.
Admission is free to the museum on the first Sundays of the month. This does NOT include admission any special exhibits.
