Most of the activities are designed for younger children. I'd say that to be able to see and reach most of the interactive things, a child would need to be at least 3 and a half feet tall. There are a few things higher up, but they're probably not things you'd want small children doing, anyway. As far as age goes, I'd say most of them were between 8 and 12.
It seemed to be all ages were here enjoying the museum. And I do mean all ages! I hope this helps you out
My two year old liked it, but I had to be very very helpful with her. However my four year old loved it and required very little help in order to play in the exhibits. Personally I think ages 3 and up would be best, but any age child could easily go here and find enjoyment. It would just be a little more work on the parent
