Would y’all allow a high school student interested in Persuing the career of a zookeeper to see what it’s like in the day to day life of a zookeeper? Maybe follow one around for the day?

My best friend's brother was the zoo keeper (or the elephant keeper, at least). He loved every minute of it. It was hard work, as i understand it, and he was rather frail, but it was a true team of animal advocates.

Definitely call and ask. They might have some sort of program. I'm sure they'd be glad to help you or point you in the right direction of someone/somewhere being able to help you with this.

I agree with the other responders - call the Zoo and Ask

They may but not be near certain animals just because of the liability

I would probably call and ask but I don't think it would be likely.
