The museum itself isn't particularly kid-friendly, but the make your own drink experience & soda tasting is. Can be a bit noisy though, so it wpuld depend on if auditory stimulation is bothersome.
It really depends on the kid. Autism is such a wide spectrum. Some kids do better in a quieter setting. This was not particularly noisy or crowded, but it is a public place. Lots of the displays involve advertising, so there are lots of stimulating colors and photos. You can walk around at your own pace, once you have a wristband, so you dont need to feel rushed.
Probably not the best place, making a drink is cool but the rooms are visually noisy and full of people
I would recommend going to do the activities such as making your own soda and taste testing sodas. It was a fun experience for our family. It was not crowded or noisy when we where there. There are a lot of pictures and old items to look at with lengthy in depth descriptions for each one. So if this precious kiddo is stimulated by colors (in the photos and advertisements), objects (old soda items) and taste sensory (making/trying different soda) then they may enjoy this experience.
I wouldn't recommend. There's nothing for kids here. You will just be walking and reading information on the wall.
It’s a busy place with lots of lighting.
