We stayed there for a week; there is a lifeguard tower right in front of the buildings so definitely not allowed while the lifeguard is on duty, since lines can get in the way of a rescue. You probably need a fishing license if it is.
I'm not sure. I was there for a week and didn't see anyone doing that.
