It is just rocks some times though so make sure you are wearing appropriate shoes on your way.
I tried it a few years ago when I had just retired & was out of shape. From an older person's view point, it goes pretty much straight up to get there. It is not necessarily hard but it does take some time, with rests along the way & lots of water. Do not forget to wear shoes with good tread & having a walking stick helps a lot !
It's a pretty gradual incline and the steep climbs are short and spread out
Yeah, it has some areas that are hilly, but overall it is an intermediate hike. The worst you gotta look out for are the areas where rockslides happened. There is basically shale there and you can get your foot caught in some places. Overall though it is a good hike
