Just arrived in town from out of state. Male employee at self check out was very rude. Kept asking if I was going to shop. Told him yes after I sat down and looked at the ad. Told me I would have to leave my bag (reusable) at customer service or with him.(????) Sat in cart area looking at ad then started this review. He then came out told me I would have to leave. So I did. Went to vehicle to finish this. He then asked someone to keep an eye on me and stated I was 86'd and proceeded to call someone and walked behind my vehicle to check tag. WTH? Need to have a chat with this employee. Appears to be on a power trip. All this over not wanting to leave my reusable bag with him. Have a Smith's card and shop at Fred Meyer's and Smiths when out west. Definitely will never spend my $$$$ at this store. Unbelievable.

Smiths has always been a nice option for the North Valleys. The staff at this location has many years of service under their belt. The thing I cant understand is how they pick and choose to treat certain customers like a million bucks and remember their name everytime. I am NOT one of those individuals. I am a very cordial and friendly person and have lived in the North Valleys for over 30 years and these characters act like I keyed their car lol

I went into this store that I've always shopped at for the past 8 years , last night at around 9pm . I went to buy some formula for my daughter , this store is usually the only one that carries the kind she drinks. I got the formula can all the way home to find out the seal was broken , which meant the formula was more than likely contaminated. I went to return it because this was the last one smith's had left. The manager on duty told me there was nothing she could do after just seeing me in the store the first time when I initially bought the formula. My reason for going back right away was to make sure I dealt with the issue as soon as possible to let the store know that this wasn't my fault & I was in dyer need of the formula for my daughter. She did not give me a refund and told me I would have to come back in the morning and possibly be told the exact same thing. I've had a few issues in this store before but , this one , this was the last straw for sure. I had just spent my last on baby formula for my daughter and was told I couldn't get my money back because so many people have stolen formula and brought it back saying the seal was broken and ended up getting refunds for formula they never purchased. Here I am , an honest person , came right back in after getting all the way back home and also still had my receipt , being told that I couldn't get a refund for something I purchased not even 15 minutes before that . So , it was fun but , I am done shopping at this store .
