picked up their strawberry boston *cream* cake - looks beautiful but the middle is most certainly not the pudding cream you'd expect in a boston cream anything! looks like someone ran their finger around the outside of the middle filling to make it look like it was filled with a pudding cream - but when you cut into it the filling is nothing more than the same whipped cream on top - really save mart? no wonder your ratings keep going down, you really don't seem to care about the prkduct(s) you put out...

So I lost my wallet two weeks ago, the day before I was supposed to move into a new apartment. It was a huge hassle, I had to cancel my U-Haul appointment, order new cards, try and get an appointment at the DMV, etc. etc. and I've been stressing about it since then. Audrey at Save Mart found me on Facebook and reached out to me to let me know they found it, and had kept it in their safe these past two weeks. I didn't even go into Save Mart that day, so someone must have picked it up and turned it in. I'm not usually blessed with moments that restore my faith in humanity, but today was one of those days. I know it's probably not a big deal for other people, but it was a big deal for me. Audrey deserves a raise! You have no idea what a weight this was off my shoulders, and that's all thanks to good employees like her. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This is the cake we picked up yesterday. It was cracked and leaning to the side. The worst presentation & the chocolate cake part tastes bitter. There is no other cake, just this one and we are forced to just serve it. Some guests thought it was an ice cream cake and it’s beginning to melt. We have to rush to the cake part in fear that it will fall if we waited longer. I am so upset. It ruined the photos, and my kid’s first birthday experience. I called and was told, I have to “bring the item to the store for a refund.” Were they expecting me to not have a cake for my daughter? This ugly cake ruined her birthday! To make matters worse, this lady, Winnie, was arguing with me saying that I should’ve informed them right away so they can refund or fix it. And when I asked her if they can make me another cake in 20 mins. she said they can’t. So what is the point of informing them “right away” if they can’t do anything (mind you, the party is starting in 20 mins. when this cake was picked up). She has a very unapologetic tone and even raised her voice at me. She then added, “Call the manager tomorrow. I don’t have time for this right now.” Wow. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT order from here. Not only does the cake taste bad, it is also aesthetically terrible and Winnie’s behavior made it even worse.
