This isnt the Humane Society. That is located about 5 minutes away. This is the shelter and I believe it is county funded. Humane societies normally are funded by donations not the county. I dont know how you would do it, but my personal starting point would be to call and find out who you could talk to about finding them more money. More funds=less animals being put down.
