Online info says visiting is allowed throughout ngmc (online info updated 8/30/22) but this place allows absolutely no visitation at all - period. Because of Covid. Terrible if you have a loved one getting help here.

Absolutely one of the best hospitals in Ga!! My 14 year old daughter is currently here and they have been absolutely amazing with her! I can not say enough good things about this place, I HIGHLY recommend this hospital. All of the staff are phenomenal!!!

One of the worst mental hospitals I've ever been to. I was in a there due to a suicide attempt and I had a broken neck. The staff was completely rude and treated us as subhumans. I wasn't ready to leave but due to no insurance they forced me to leave after just 2days. They barely fed us (just enough to not die of hunger) and the food was horrible. The whole experience was horrible the staff was the worst part they showed no emotion you could tell each bed made them money and they only wanted people there who could make them the most money. I just can't get over how cold and rude they all were. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MENTAL HOSPITAL for the sake of you or your loved ones go to Ridgeview

My daughter was here 7 days and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and treatment she received here. She went in broken and came out with an entire new outlook on life. I highly recommend them and so thankful for everything they did for my kid.

Typically three to five days, but it depends on the patient.
If I want to see if my nephew is there will they tell me
Yes. It is good as long as you put in the effort
Yes, but they'll need to go into Intake at the Gainesville ER and be evaluated. They take walk-ins, but if the Intake office isn't open, you'll probably have to go to the ER proper. Just be aware that it can take several hours/days if space is not available.

On the adult floor I know of, no.
Nope
I think so
No but they can keep you for a long time while waiting for long term paperwork to be finished
Adults have visitation as well as minors. Both kids and adults are allowed to use the phones to make their calls at between the time period that Laurelwood has set.
If you have insurance they will probably take you without going to hospital. My daughter had no insurance so e have to go to emergency room first.
I went to the.ER and waited 3 days before they came to get me
I think that can help you.
No they do not. You just stay for a couple of days and they will send you to another facility if more treatment is needed for you.
3 to 7 days
Yes they do
