I had been going here for almost 2 years with regular check ups and for blood work for a controlled substance. I had gone in and had blood for done for my medications and was given a new prescription like normal. (Usually I’m given 3 before more blood work is needed as it is a ‘controlled substance’) I called to get a refill after one month and was told I needed to come in for blood work after only a month. I explained to them I had already had it done and they kept saying it was for ‘something else’. If that was the case then why was I given a whole month of pills if I had a blood test for ‘something else’???They made it sound like I just go and get blood drawn for fun. The clinic itself is grimy and very dated. The last time I was in the waiting room I moved seats because I had seen a cockroach crawling on the floor. Loved my doctor and phlebotomists though, the rest of the staff is terrible. I was always billed 2-3 times my copay and then always refunded. This was was ALWAYS going on so def keep an eye on your bill.

No, Longstreet Clinic is an independent multi-specialty physician practice. Many of our physicians have privileges at NGMC, but we are a separate entity.

Personally, I have been really impressed with Dr. Joey West who works out of the Northeast Georgia diagnostic clinic. My asthma had never been as well controlled in my life until I started to see Dr. West.
Jennie, we do accept BCBS and those state plans do typically fall under our contract with BCBS. However, we always recommend contacting the customer service number for your insurer just to ensure what is in network versus out of network so there are no surprises.

Thanks for your question. Longstreet Clinic does not have any cardiologists. There are a number of great heart doctors and groups in the area, however.
To my knowledge, the PCPs can offer medicine's to help with your bi-polar and TLC does accept BCBS but NOT the BCBS Pathway policy off of the Marketplace Exchange. 😊
We do not currently have any dermatologists at Longstreet Clinic.
