Horrible staff! Make you wait way past your appointment time. Multiple visits and never have seen an actual doctor. Keep passing me off to nurse practitioners who have a NASTY attitude and refuse to listen or allow you to have any say in your own treatment. If you question anything they say they treat you like you are a problem and will end your visit with them right then and there.

I will never go back to this office. Unlike other reviewers, my wait was not long and the receptionist and nurse were friendly yet professional. My issue is with the physician who was dismissive and rude. **This will seem unrelated at first, but its definitely related** I had recently and suddenly experienced some very concerning cardiac symptoms and blood pressure (both ongoing daily for 3 weeks before seen by a cardiologist) as high as 172/98 with no previous personal history, except a strong family history of heart disease. I am 49 years old. My dad had less symptoms than I was suddenly experiencing and he ended up with a quad-bypass at 49. I couldn't get a timely appointment with my PCP as he is semi retired and only works 8 hours/week and is booked up for weeks. Fortunately I am covered by a PPO which allows me to see a specialist without a PCP referral. After seeing the cardiologist and mentioning to him that my varicose veins had gotten worse alongside my blood pressure spikes (I wasn't sure if that was coincidental or related to my blood pressure) he suggested getting my veins looked at by a specialist...my varicose veins were burning more than usual, I'd had a new area of varicose veins suddenly pop up, and some swelling and pain developed (with no discoloration) in my thigh where I'd previously had a large, severe, deep tissue hematoma 3 years earlier as a result of an accident. The cardiologist said the pain and swelling could potentially be blood clots and it should be checked in a timely manner. As I said earlier, when I arrived at the vein clinic, my wait was reasonable and the receptionist and nurse were both friendly and professional. However, the physician barely looked at my legs. I mentioned how I had come to believe I needed to be seen. I explained about the cardiology appointment and my sudden symptoms that had been persisting daily for weeks and being unsure if the changes in my leg veins were connected. He asked me if my PCP had referred me to the cardiologist. I told him no, and started explaining about his semi retired status but the doc CUT ME OFF and told me he had worked in cardiology for a time, years back, and that my cardiology issues were hormonal due to menopause. He must have seen my confused look because he then quickly said, "I'm sure you've gone through menopause." I said no. He countered with, "well I'm sure your presently going through it." I said no. He then said, " Well, with your age you're close." He told me that I had jumped the "chain of command" by seeing a cardiologist without first going to my PCP because the PCP would have told me it was just hormones. Then he briefly told me that if varicose veins are visible they aren't dangerous. He prescribed me to wear compression socks everyday for 4 months and then come back to see if it helped. He said some other things about possibly doing an ultrasound if the socks didn't work...but after his pompous attitude about my cardiology issues, I had already decided that I wasn't coming back. If he was so dismissive of my heart health concerns (which the cardiologist took seriously, by the way) and so demeaning about my choice to seek timely care from a cardiologist without first seeing my PCP, I have no confidence in him as a physician. He formed an instant opinion about my health in an area outside of his current specialty. He didn't ask me about my heart symptoms, didn't know that my workplace nurse was alarmed at my dizzy spells, shortness of breath, chest pain, chest construction, the blood vessels breaking in my eyes, along with my family history. He was so quick to say it's menopause and I broke the chain of command when he had zero information. I will never go back to that office again.

This place was highly unprofessional. The doctor literally spent 40 seconds in the room to speak with me and rushed out as if there were something else more important. I felt very uncomfortable about this situation
