Pay attention in the AM when the diamond lanes are open going to the upper portion on the Bklyn queen's Express way and that means you must exit at 39th st if you were in the left Lane on the verrazano bridge looking for the belt parkway. The diamond lanes are high-occupancy vehicle Lanes . If you are not having at least two or three people I forget they will give you a ticket. Also I've noticed the amount of lanes available vary from times of the day and they do a lot of maintenance on those bridges and closed Lanes at will. Last but not least keep in mind that the Verrazano Bridge only has electronic tools, meaning that E-ZPass is required or you will get toll by mail

Stephanie, KMH, and Orlando, are all correct, however, if you're Brooklyn bound ,and you wish to access the Belt Parkway, you must do so from the lower level only (via left lane)
