How do I find a patient in hospital

When you come to the hospital in person be sure the patient wants you to know they are present. We legally cannot share that information if the patient opted to be a private patient. So be sure you know whether they are private or not. If you are coming to the hospital you can come to either main admissions or the emergency department depending on what the circumstances are and ask any employee and we will help you locate your loved one. If you call keep in mind we are limited as to what we can say over the phone but we will do our best to answer your questions. If you are able to communicate with your loved one please determine why they are at the hospital were they in an accident, have an emergency or was it a regular appointment? This information is critical. It really helps us determine where the patient is. Also help us out by making sure you know the patients full legal name and date of birth. I cannot tell you how many people come and have little info. Not helpful at all.
