You need to contact the guide Dog foundation in Smithtown, New York. Tell them you are looking for a guide Dog. That your husband is blind and they should be able to help you. When you call ask for resource. You will fill out a application,and have your Doctor fill out some information. The hardest part is waiting. Make sure you ask how long is the wait for you to get a dog? They have a place for you to stay for about a week to train with there dog before the dog is turned over to you. They all are good people.
