How do I ask them to cancel the hotel security deposit that was not refounded ? I was there paid for the days and the security deposit made at check in was not refounded.

Hi Ligia, The security deposit is not a charge, it is an authorization. This hold is released at check-out. The time it takes to be available in your account is dependent on your financial institution. Please note, the approximate time frames were noted on the registration card reviewed and signed at check-in. We have no control over the time it takes your bank to release the money, so we do try to make this clear at check-in. I hope this helps.

Our family did not need to cancel, but we could cancel and receive the deposit if we did that until 24 hours before. The amount is credited to the credit card that is registered.
