Um....maybe I should let the pictures speak for themselves😁🤢 Edit 10/13/22 * since I got a response from the hotel itself, I really wish I could have uploaded my videos....it would have shown a way more detailed explanation of the conditions of the room. I've been to many hotels in the new York city area and many have had exceptionally clean and beautiful accommodations. The neighborhoods don't reflect the hotels themselves unless you don't feel safe. The view from the hotel was beautiful but the rooms looked old fashioned and the furnishing looked shabby. There was a sofa in the room but it was old cracked brown leather that looked like it had been there from circa 1999 if not before. I just don't understand why I felt like the establishment was mildly clapping back at me....I don't like to be harsh in my reviews, I just try to be honest but I felt like the reviews needed clarification since my photos were not clear enough, supposedly

Ravel Hotel in Long Island City is terrific. We just attended a gorgeous wedding there and stayed overnight. Great staff/clean rooms/highly recommend.

Would not recommend. Very thin doors, was woken up by neighbors/staff in the halls several times. Staff making noise in the halls all through the night. Poor furnishings, water instead of handsoap, poor bathroom design, small room. Would recommend staying at a holiday Inn instead. I don't understand what Wyndham were trying to do with this pseudo boutique with the aesthetic of the gulag. The staff were also unpleasant and not helpful. RESPONSE TO OWNER: If there's something you can do to help make it up to me, as you suggest, what are your ideas? If you're seriously offering, please offer. I would like to hear from you. I think my criticisms are constructive, and I don't feel the need to do the work to amend the situation. Please let me know how you can make this right.
