Recently, I was swimming in the shallow peninsula area to the far right of beach. When we emerged from the water. We were COVERED in leech like creatures. They were only a few millimeters long and pale brown anyone know what they were?

After some research. It seems they were Planeria.. Odd because they are supposed to eat dead fish and other lake life. Not attach to humans, but I'm fairly certian that's what they were, looked identical.

It sounds like leeches. They suck your blood. They like to stay in the thick silt and leaves in the water. How did you get them off? My Dad had to cut them in half to get them to release from the skin.
