We went there on a holiday and I asked and I was told they were close to capacity. Luckily we all made it in that day!!
Yes they have turned people away before ....iv been coming here 30 years and i can remember when i was a kid up here with my parents they closed cause they were over packed....
Never seen anyone turned away even on the holidays. Parking gets tight on those hot holidays but it's a big park and plenty of room once you land your rig! 😉
I would call, holdiays they tend to be more crowded, it is forst come first setve to let in at the beach and picnic area.
At the beach, could possibly fill up quick on a hot day. There is limited parking also be but I have never been turned away. As far as camping, have inly heard of them gilling up to capacity on major holidays.

There is a capacity but, I don't know what it is. If it's a beautiful day, they fill up early. It's best to call them early to see. Good luck. It's a beautiful park!!!
