As of today, still plenty of ice. But calling the state park is a good idea, they should be able to provide you even more up-to-date information than the DNR website that too is a good place to look
You could also call the lark office and ask the ranger onduty. I bet they would know for certain.

The ice is currently still out on the lake, but it has been diminishing with the recent rains. I don't believe anyone can say for certain when it will be gone completely, but my guess is that there will still be a significant portion of the lake covered with ice by this weekend.
The DNR usually has a list of ice out dates as they occur on lakes across the state. If you Google it, you should be able to find if the lake is open
