Absolutely beautiful scenery but so much of the lakeside is taken up with private property its hard to get next to the water. It was, nevertheless, a stunning drive and the day was perfect.

A nice beautiful lake in the vicinity of beautiful nature. Has ample amount of parking. 25$ entry fee for non Idaho residents. Has benches, stone to sit. Since the background is picturesque, you can click photos here and hangout for a bit. Also it has boating facility, so you can rent a boat and bring yours. A nice place to hangout in scenic road from Salt lake city to Jackson.

It’s worth the entrance fee. They keep the beach clean, with picnic benches. Lots of room for children to run around. The water has lots a room to swim in before it gets too deep. It’s a awesome place for a “beach” day.

My friends and I had a phenomenal time in the State Park Restroom showers!! They were accommodated with a bench and hangers for our towels and other shower toiletry! If you are desiring a convenient and refreshing cleansing experience stop on BY!!! Devry was able to wash in every crevice! Be careful it gets a little slippery ;)

The Park is dog friendly but dogs were not allowed on the beaches within the Park when we stayed there this past August and October (2020). I had no problem walking our leashed dog all over the campground areas though.
North beach in Idaho is our family's favourite because of the sandy beaches. The state park in Utah also has sandy beaches, but some times more crowded.
Old Ephraim's Trail is south of Bear Lake off of a road called West Fork. I go mountain biking there and it's beautiful right now.
Yes, all the rv sites at Bear Lake State Park have 50 & 30 amp full hook ups
They are “supposed” to be on a leash @ the East Beach (Idaho) state park but pretty much NO ONE follows this rule and it is not enforced AT ALL!
Depends where you go... most sites along the lake are day only. Cabins range from 50 to several hundred a night. As for nearby campsites they could be anywhere from 25 to 100, whether public or private.
You can purchase an annual state park pass online. $100 for unlimited access each year, less if you are a senior citizen. You can print out the receipt to use as proof while you wait for it to arrive in the mail. Totally worth it!
Hi, I haven't seen any of them yet...but,what I seen it's a lot of camping all along the river!!! I just moved in to Utah and I love it!! But probably there's a big chance that can be a possibility...thanks anyway for asking!!!
Only if you have a 2nd car.
