Beautiful and relaxing place. The view is incredible! I wish pet owners would walk to a dog relief area instead of the beach area. If you have a pet please take them for a walk towards the restroom area.

I love bear lake! It's the riviera of the rockies. The water is so blue and beautiful. Unfortunately it's nearly impossible to avoid crowds on the weekends. But it's still beautiful

I love staying here! The beach is never crowded and you can leave stuff outside of your camper without worry, the only downside is trying to get a spot and not a lot of trees.

beautiful and relaxing. the east beach campground is quiet and very nice. clean vault toilets, no sewer hookups and no showers, but the area is pristine and a bit wild... landscape is all natural.. very little lawn area. long beach to walk on and swimming, boating areas. views of the lake are spectacular!

So, there isn't supposed to be, however it seems the rules are pretty relaxed. I suppose it's posted for those that can't clean up after their pets.

We usually make our in Feb. And sometimes hard to get.
I think it was 30.00 for power and water at the site and the dump station was up the hill, included... That was on the Idaho side
