I'm adopting a kitten about 6 weeks old. How old should they be before they can be spayed/neutered? Also how much would it cost for vaccinations and spay/neutering?

Vaccinations begin at 8 weeks. The kittens should be checked for FeLV and FIV The traditional time to spay kittens and puppies is 6 months. Spay neuter clinics will do them at a much earlier age but their only goal is to stop pet over population. If you keep your cat indoors and don't let them breed you can get them neutered at the later time and accomplish the same goal. If you want continuity of care come to O'Neal Animal Hospital. I will be doing the exams and surgery myself with my long time assistants Ann and Pete. Thanks Dr. Littlejohn

3 months. Vaccination and everything would be included which is less than $100. You could also try Paws on Grays Ferry Ave $60 for everything.
