Hi Aubrie (beautiful name!) My fiance and I were there in September, they took my card details but no money was taken. I believe they take your card details as a precaution, they didn't ask me for any cash but we were booked through a travel agents in the UK and had already paid in full. There is a $150 fee if you leave your room in a mess so I imagine they take your card details so that they can take this if need be. I'm not sure if they put that $150 on "hold" though when they take your details. I would keep trying to call them and maybe just make sure you have the $150 available incase they do hold it as a precaution. Have fun at the horror nights !
If the trip is paid in full before arrival then they charge $20 deposit. I always use priceline app, they have the best prices
