Hello. Is the pavement on this mountain closed? I was planning on coming there in the morning and jus got wind the pavement was closed..are you remodeling or something?

It is closed. We talked to the park ranger onsite early January and he said it's going to be closed for a full year due to construction to the road

The paved trail is closed for reconstruction right now, but there is a dirt trail to the south that is open. It also goes to the summit and is very challenging!
