If you go thru the south entrance on encanto into the park around 12pm and 1pm. There's a bridge to west cross over and walk to your right there's a waterfall there. It's nice..

The park is free. Enchanted island and the peddle boats prices depend on day. (Enchanted Island is great for smaller kids 9 and younger)

Yes to BBQ grills , amusement rides, lakes with paddle boat rentals. A very family friendly park. Some advice on the paddle boats. They are cool to rent and are fun for like 10 minutes. After that they get a little bit tiresome paddling thru the water.

You can rent space by contacting Parks Department however high demand days such as the Fourth of July are not advised as to the high traffic and public nature of the park. Also I believe that the Phoenix fire department has that day rented.

Right next to this park is the Parks and Rec service building. You can call them and see what they have available. The park is so big that I am sure they can find something for you.

There's one at the Enchanted Island Amusement Park, which is located at Encanto Park. Free to enter, but you need to buy a ticket to get on the splash pad area or to ride the rides.

The swimming pool, playground, snack area and basketball courts are all on the south side of the park. The Enchanted Island Amusement Park is located on the north side of the park. There is more shade on the north side of the park. If you don't reserve their only 2 reservable family areas, you would need to have someone go to the park early in the morning to sit and hold your area for you. -OR- You can attempt to reserve your area here: https://www.phoenix.gov/parks/picnic-areas. I would check now. Good luck! Either way, you'll make out fine, it's a walkable park located in the heart of a beautiful historic homes. I hope this helped.
