What area specifically do you suggest for a family reunion? Mostly adults, some elderly? It'll be early November. Im not too familiar with the park, we will need something shaded, tables, bbq, not too far from parking. Any suggestions?

The swimming pool, playground, snack area and basketball courts are all on the south side of the park. The Enchanted Island Amusement Park is located on the north side of the park. There is more shade on the north side of the park. If you don't reserve their only 2 reservable family areas, you would need to have someone go to the park early in the morning to sit and hold your area for you. -OR- You can attempt to reserve your area here: https://www.phoenix.gov/parks/picnic-areas. I would check now. Good luck! Either way, you'll make out fine, it's a walkable park located in the heart of a beautiful historic homes. I hope this helped.
