With a light
Obviously none of you people have ever fished! Unless fish are near the surface feeding you wont know they are there! Polarized lenses in your sunglasses greatly reduce the sun's glare bouncing off of the surface of the water. Fish are a great source of oils,& protein. Largely food source for birds,& other meat eating creatures. Fish are quite skidish by nature. Unless fish are feeding near the surface,or in some shallow water. You won't see any fish,or know there, there. A fishing pro will look for how the shore line turns,or breaks against the current. There also are certain surface clues that'll point out areas fish like ,such as a weed growth, lily pads,& rock slides near the shorelines. All of the above. Are what fishing pros call a pattern. The areas you know hold fish. Fishing during the day,or at night? It's the same, just look,& remember where the fish were in the daylight, go to the spot at night. You'll catch a fish or 2. Leave the bright lights home. It just scares the fish
If you are fishing skip the light. Otherwise i still don't think a flashlight will do a whole lot unless they are swimming close to the surface
What fish?
