Good, clean park filled with smiling faces! Family and friends gather often for memorable times here at Optimist Park. I’m bias though… I live nearby! But seriously, it’s a rather large park with several field playing areas, a shaded playground and a bike/walking Pathway that combines most all of the neighborhood together.

This park has water fountains but no bathrooms. Perfect neighborhood park!

It's a large park with a medium sized. The GPS took me to the side of the park with nothing except a sign and picnic tables. There are three entrances. I took photo of one of the city of Tempe sign. It's asking for suggestions for your park. The city has put in a lot of saplings which means good shade in the future. In the twi playground areas there are a reasonable number of new or like new benches. At this time the are two each cement picnic tables and a metal tables plus grills. 05/21/22 on the Sesame side.There is a handicapped parking space with cement ramp.
