Really bad leash law enforcement most times I come here someone has their dog off leash. If you have a kid afraid of dogs or dog who doesn't like other dogs probably find a different park.

Nice park with a full-size basketball court. There are 6 hoops in total. There are toilets that are maintained well. Around the park are a few benches and tables.

Red ear sliders are not native to AZ, unfortunately pet stores sell then buyers realize they are not easy pets to take care so they release in local ponds, The pond by Swt Tornados off Southern is so overrun by sliders and fish they are all starving, the owners take poor care and post Do not Feed the Animal signd they breed quickly

Can you hold semi large events? Do you have to reserve or pay to do so?

The park is open to the public. I am not aware of any restrictions pertaining to limits to the number of participants in a party. You will have to bring extra tables and chairs. There is a children's playground on site also. You can find out about any fees that may apply by calling the Tempe Department of Parks and Recreation.
