I wasn’t sure which brow technique would be best for my skin and face shape but when I went in for my consultation Alyce explained each brow technique in detail. She mapped my brows and made sure it was to my liking. She has several colors to choose from and matched me to a Perfect color! Microblading is a manual hand technique that creates and imitates natural hair by using a small blade with a little bit on pigment on the tip in which small hair like scratches are then placed to fill in the brow as desired. The Microblading pigment will last 1 to 3 years depending on your day to day activities and life style. And touchups are recommended approximately once a year or so to prevent natural fading and to keep your color fresh.
Microblading costs range between $300 to $600 at our studio depending on the type of service you are looking for.
Hi Jon. Thank you for your question. No. You do not have to shave your eyebrows to get microblading done. The goal of the process is to enhance the natural look of your eyebrows.
Microblading is a type of PMU (Permanent Makeup) for the eyebrows only. Other types of PMU are freckling (for the cheeks), and lip blush (for the lips). We offer PMU services for eyebrows, cheeks, lips, and hairline (for men).
