It's a scam. They never text.
That's suspicious. Don't respond to a text like that. CMHA tends to send correspondence/notices through the mail. The correspondence usually arrives a week late. Call them directly if you have any concerns. You have to do your best to be proactive with your dealings with them or you'll get nowhere. They are understaffed (maybe) and this alone impacts the amount of time they take to respond to resident's concerns.
