Why hasn’t TSA figures out that one of the things people do when they come to KC is buy BBQ and want to take home. There should be a way to get food through security without dumping it, checking it with the possibilities of spilling in your luggage

Once when in Louisiana for business got containers of wonderful local food. The hotel froze it overnight. The I was able to get it home barely defrosted. Family ate it within a couple days.
