Why do you expect the workers to not be rude when they deal with entitled rude brats all day, and I’m not talking about children....

As any job you have to smile and respond to rude adults/children and remember they were raised that way. Just don't lower yourself to their level.

*round of applause* because they work for a government paid job people think the post office workers owe them something other than mail.

We as government employees are only there to be of service. We don't owe the public anything but to do our jobs and be courteous so that we don't lose our jobs. I've had people try to get their mail while I'm at the cbu. "No I can't stop sir to see if you have mail or parcels, but you are welcome to check once I'm done."
