Acton Impact does have a 3 month layaway plan. There's plenty of places that offer layaway plans on firearms and ammo. Actually I haven't been to a place that didn't offer a layaway plan, rundetroit doesn't know what he's taking about!
They absolutely have a layaway on firearms. I just bought a large caliber semiautomatic Glock pistol there. I put 50% down and paid it off in a couple of weeks (I used the layaway for purely psychological reasons, i.e. so it would not seem like I was dropping $700 on a toy that is too big for EDC.)
I'm sorry, but there are gun stores that offer layaway plans. Usually 90 days, but arrangements can be made if you need more time.
No....theres NO such thing as layway for weapons or amino
