We rented from a property that RESSCO owned and was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had with trying to get a deposit back, we moved out in April of 2022 and was told it would take up to 45 days for us to get our deposit back, after the 45 days we still didn’t receive our deposit so we decided to call them and email people in the building and got no response from anyone for months, it took us getting a attorney involved for us to get our money back on august 31st 2022, i would highly recommend not renting property that is owned by this company.

I wish I could give this company NO STARS . I applied for an apartment in June of 2021 and was suppose to move in and I kept getting the run around and the “UNIT” that was suppose to be available never became available so I asked for a refund and the property told me no problem I have to go through ressco. So I called Ressco and all I’ve heard is excuses the lady that answer the phone is nice but clueless she don’t know what’s going on I asked for my refund first I was told it’s was in the mail , then I was told it was processing so I called back a month later cause I didn’t receive it and now i was being told she couldn’t get any answers from management on what was going on. So now im heated cause I was lied too it’s been a whole year and ive called at least once a week I was told back in may 2022 that my check will be coming in a week they sold their properties and was handling that situation I feel like me getting my money back was way more important. So I was given an email address for a Brittany vanderbrook and she was no help either I email her her in 7-30-22 here we are 8-30-22 and I still haven’t heard back if I don’t get a response back I will be taking legal actions.

Ressco is the worst management company ever. Shawn Stafford is a slumlord and a crook who’s deserves to rot in prison.

I've been waiting since February for my security deposit refund of $1k+ . After speaking on the phone and consistently following up through email, I eventually stopped receiving responses. I would avoid anywhere managed by this company.

I have been waiting 10 weeks now for mine at another property they own. I am taking them to small claims court as well as I have already reported them to the BBB and Toledo Housing Court. We are getting ready to contact the local news station due to this situation and what current residents are experiencing.
