We were there last week to get our real id. We don't need any appointment for sure. You need to make sure you arrive before 9am to avoid the crowd. Once inside, it's takes somewhere b/w 15-20 minutes, provided you have all your required documents 😊
You don't walk in. They have you line up outside and then you get a beeper like at a restaurant and wait in your car. On Saturday afternoon I waited an hour in my car. Once you're buzzed, you go in, get a ticket and wait. They let about 20 people inside at a time. Once inside you wait for your ticket number to be called like it was pre-pandemic.
No you should be able to walk right in might have a wait so get there like 2 or a hour before they even open
