No as long as you have it you can keep renewing it I got mine at 18 didnt officially get my license till 21 I renewed it paid for it and scheduled my driving test right before covid that was this year I got my license in December of last year failed my driving exam the first passed on the second just explain to them you want to renew it and make a appointment to take the test
